Power of Praise Breaks All Chains of bondage
Acts 16:25-26 New International Version (NIV)
25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, may you receive the same anointing.
Today, I command all evil spirits destroying your life to get out and leave right now!
The reason why they are celebrating is because the Bible says Paul and Silas were beaten because they had delivered a slave woman who was possessed by an evil spirit – the spirit of divination. The owners or slave lords of the woman were very angry and reported them to the authorities who beat them and imprisoned them. The Bible says Paul and Silas were imprisoned in a different way. They were inside the prison, their heads facing down, and they had chains on the legs and hands. Nevertheless, their hearts were not in chains. Let me tell you. It might happen that you are experiencing hard times and facing challenges in your life, but it will not affect your heart. They started praising God. They never complained about anything but they started singing hymns of praise.
The other prisoners heard the singing that was happening. They heard this praising and realised that they were different prisoners. Instead of crying, they praised God. The Bible says that suddenly there was an earthquake and all the chains started falling off all the prisoners. Their chains were broken and the prison doors started to open. Let me tell you something today. God is going to open the doors that the devil has closed in your life. They understood that it is not about the pain they were feeling, but it was about praising God.
You can try everything in life to solve the situations you are facing but it may not work. But if you praise God He will come into your life, and all your chains will be broken. Sometimes there are people that are in your life, making your life hard, they have placed chains in your life and imprisoned you; they have no power over your life. You only need to give praise to God. Some have given up and others have left you when you needed them most. God will bring more power in your life.
